Squid Game set a record as mostly watched web series on Netflix.. Can't remember when was the last time I saw so much thrilling survival drama sticking like a magnet. As a viewer, liked the show's unpredictability..too much exciting twists and turns..its story of competition among 456 people who are in debt. All these people become part of a game which have many twists and turns which make audience to stick with it..and last episode reveals major twist..so very well written directed and acted web series..prefer to watch it..I bet you will definitely like it...
Gripping show but cliched twists and ending is a let down..
Even if you've seen "The Hunger Games" and "Money Heist", "Squid Game" (called "Ojing-eo Geim" in the original Korean) is still going to shock you. The sad thing is that so many people have no other choice but to risk everything like the characters here. Definitely see it. You'll never look at any children's game the same way again after seeing it.
it's very nicely produced and totally gripping. There are some loose ends in the plot though and although there is quite a bit of psychology play but there could have been many more underlying threads running beneath the surface. Selfishness, altruism etc could have been explored far more than what has eventually been done. great show no doubt. stay away if you don't like extreme violence, death, gore etc. Very good but an opportunity lost in my opinion
for some reason, can't encourage these kind of sick stuff
The notion that all of us will turn to bad ways in time of crisis, send shivers down the spine. This show captures it so well.
Just amazing!
Where do I even begin? Symbolism, horror, gore, thrills. You name it and this show has it. It’s a must watch. There is nothing I can even compare this to
I will admit - I started watching this only for the hype it created. Definitely worth watching. We might have come across shows/movies on similar concept but what makes Squid games better is that you feel for the main characters. The way they slowly transform from being your average Joe to those being just mere puppets in the hands of the current capitalistic-materialistic sans humanity world.
